Easter Bunny spotted in the countryside!
FCIA received a whopping 2 500 easter eggs to distribute to our schools in Mooresburg, Porterville, Hopefield, Darling and Ceres.
The Easter Bunny had to do the 100m dash to get to all these schools in time and is now one worn out bunny!

A special thanks to Lauren de Sa of CBC St Johns Parklands and Kate of Airlie Country School in Constantia, who kindly donated the Easter eggs to these schools.

One needs to bear in mind that a gesture so small, has a huge impact on these children. Most of the children do not receive Easter eggs or Christmas gifts due to the lack of funds in their households. The gratitude on these children’s faces makes me realise that what we are trying to accomplish at FCIA is so worth it.

Never in my wildest dreams did I think that I would be playing ‘Easter Bunny’ to 600 children! I did try to coerce Andrew to hire a costume and be the ‘real’ Easter bunny but he would not bite, little does he know what I have in store for him for next year!
