Kids helping Kids is a programme aimed at children in Grade 1 – Grade 6 attending schools in the city centre.
These children can help ‘Feeding Children in Africa’ by donating their uniforms that they have outgrown, school shoes and second hand sports equipment (provided these items are in a good condition) to the children in the rural areas that FCIA is targeting. It enables the children in these schools to do something positive for their peers and educating them on the difficulties these children in the rural area’s face with regards to being educated and attending school.
We are hoping to pair up schools and implement a fundraising drive between the parent and sister school.
Activities will be arranged so that the children can meet up a few times a year and build a relationship with each other.
Should you be interested in implementing this kind of programme at your school, please contact Bronwynn on 083 565 1454. |
